Provided by Seabird Island Band

Provides support services for seniors living on-reserve within the traditional Stō:ló territory.
Better at Home Program: Program provides independence for Elders living on-reserve within the traditional Stō:ló territory. Also provides free assistance with simple, non-medical tasks that enhance the quality of life of our Elders to help them remain living in their own homes for as long as possible.
Eligibility: Elders who are 55 years of age or older and are living in the Stō:ló territory. Priority will be given to Elders who are at risk of not being able to remain in their homes.

Meals on Wheels: offers the delivery of reasonably priced hot meals to those whose physical, emotional, mental or social condition handicaps their ability to obtain or prepare adequate meals for themselves.

Elder’s group: Elder’s group offers monthly outings, seasonal canning sessions, some much-needed pampering, and make-and-takes. Also provides workshops for seniors.

Elder’s fitness: Offers services to enable seniors to remain healthy and fit throughout life. Trainers can also provide services at home.
