Indigenous Wellness Program

Provides short term intervention for addictions to Indigenous populations.
The Indigenous Wellness Program serves to connect with the First Nations communities in Chilliwack and surrounding areas to focus on engagement services for the populations overrepresented by the current overdose crisis, and to coordinate treatment strategies and provide short term intervention with Indigenous populations, with primary concentration on women. The mandate is to provide services in an integrated manner directly with existing health and social service providers in Indigenous communities as well as the broader system of care.
