Family and Friends Caregiver Support Program
Caregiver Support, Mental Health - Adult & Senior, and Seniors Services
Provided by Abbotsford Association for Healthy Aging
Provide support for caregiver who provide unpaid care for older adults with complex needs.
Designed to meet the needs of caregivers caring for an older adult friend or family member:
- Connect caregivers with support
- Enhance confidence in their role through education and referrals
- Connect caregivers with others with similar experiences
- Allow caregivers to care for their own emotional, social, psychological, and physical well-being
- Work with caregivers to explore informal and formal support circles and respite
Eligibility: Program supports unpaid caregiver of an older adult.
