Youth Services - Chilliwack

Provides various programs for youth in Chilliwack, including mentoring and support to help them develop life skills, overcome challenges, and access housing and community resources.
The following programs and services are available:
  • Youth Support Program: Assists youth with establishing and achieving personal goals, developing life skills, and ultimately fostering independence and a stable transition to adulthood . Open to youth ages 12 to 18. Although referrals from all sources are accepted, referrals from MCFD and FVACFSS are prioritized.
  • Intensive Support & Supervision Program: Provides monitoring and intensive one-to-one support to youth on probation. For youth ages 13 to 18. Referrals from Youth Probation only, community referrals are not accepted.
  • Young Family Program: Provides one-to-one support for pregnant and parenting youth up to 22 years old. The Young Family Worker supports youth with connections to community resources, access to prenatal care, and the development of both parenting and life skills. Referrals from all sources are accepted, including self-referrals.
  • Youth Outreach: Support to vulnerable youth and their families, including “street” youth.
  • Youth Reconnect: Provides outreach support to youth who are vulnerable to or are currently experiencing exploitation, homelessness, and/or street involvement. This program aims to connect youth to community resources and ensure basic needs are met. Open to youth ages 12 to 18. Referrals from all sources are accepted, including self-referrals.
  • Youth Housing: Safe, affordable transitional housing for youth who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
  • Beyond the Bell: A community-based initiative that creates safe, accessible, and engaging recreational opportunities for youth outside of school hours. Rooted in the belief that every young person deserves a place to connect, grow, and belong, free programs are available to help promote physical activity, creativity, social connection, and personal development. By meeting youth where they are - in schools, parks, and community spaces - Beyond the Bell helps build stronger individuals and a stronger community.
