Provided by Chilliwack Community Services
Provides information, referral and court accompaniment for victims of domestic violence, spousal assault, elder abuse, and sexual assault.
Chilliwack Community Services' team of advocates and support workers provide information, legal assistance, referrals, resources and emotional and court support to victim and families.
The following services are offered:
- Specialized Victim Assistance Program: Provides services for survivors of sexual abuse, intimate partner violence, and violence against children and youth experiencing physical, sexual, and elder abuse, family violence, stalking/threats, criminal harassment and human trafficking.
- Family Law Advocate: Provides assistance with family law issues such as separation, divorce, parenting arrangements, child/spousal support, child protection matters and protection orders.
- Child and Youth Advocacy Center: Provides a child friendly environment and collaborative response to children, youth and their families who have experienced abuse, sexual assault, or witnessed a crime.
