Adult Substance Use Integrated Team (SUIT) Services - Oceanside
Addictions / Substance Use
Provided by Island Health
Services Offered include:
- Referrals to detox and treatment
- Access to harm reduction supplies and education
- Comprehensive assessment and treatment planning for substance use
- Support with accessing peer support to attend community recovery groups such as AA
- Connections to primary care for services including opioid agonist therapy (OAT), wound care, and more
- Support with smooth transitions to additional community resources tailored to individual needs (e.g., Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction, Society of Organized Services, and more)
- Clients can self-refer by text or phone to 250-589-3244
- Providers in the community can refer on behalf of the client via phone or fax if the client is unable to self-refer
