Information and Support Services for Individuals with Down Syndrome

- New Parent Visiting Program: This program welcomes new families who are expecting or have just welcomed a child with Down syndrome into their lives. A trained visitor will meet with new or expectant parents to offer advice and support services.
- Down Syndrome Support Group: Provides a monthly meeting group for parents of children who have Down syndrome from September to June each year. Offers casual support and an opportunity for parents to meet other parents, listen and share. Guest speakers are sometimes included in the meetings.
- Social and Recreational: Offers programs to aid in people with Down syndrome's cognitive, gross motor, fine motor, social and emotional development. This includes adult social nights, art classes, dance, Tots Time, and fine motor playgroups. Social Nights are free but with a suggested small donation at the door. Playgroup and Tots Time are free. While other programs, such as Zumba, Yoga, and Music Therapy, have a fee. You can find the activities, along with their details and fees, by visiting their calendar at this link.
- Lending Library: Provides a library of resource materials for children and parents.
