Diabetes Education Centres (DEC) - South Vancouver Island

Pediatric Clinic is located at the Victoria General Hospital, in the Pediatric Ambulatory Services wing. Children (up to their 18th birthday) and their families can access diabetes education and other support through the clinic.
Gestational Diabetes Education Centre is located at the Victoria General Hospital, in the Child and Family Health Unit (CFAU). This program requires a referral from a physician or midwife to access education and nutrition counseling for women with gestational diabetes (GDM) or pregnant women with Type 1 or 2 diabetes.
Please contact your local Public Health Unit if you are unable to travel to Victoria.
