Overdose Prevention Services - Northern Health Area

Support overdose prevention sites, provide overdose education and training, link clients to services, provide nursing services and distribution of harm reduction supplies.
A low barrier health service to address the opioid crisis and reduce harms associated with intravenous substance use. Staff are on site to create a safe space, supervised space for people to inject substances. They also provide harm reduction services such as sterile supplies and Naloxone training.
