The SPCA of BC provides a variety of services, including:
- Protecting Animals from Abuse: The SPCA responds to complaints of suspected abuse and neglect. People can report animal abuse/neglect by calling: 1-855-622-7722. Open 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, seven days per week. Closed on Statutory holidays except for wildlife calls in the South Vancouver Island Region (Wild ARC) from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Sheltering & Adoptions: SPCA provides temporary sanctuary for tens of thousands of animals each year through their 36 branches in B.C. BC SPCA also offers an adoption process to help individuals find their perfect pet. Adoptable animals are available at animal centres, adoption centres, and through adoption partners. Those interested can locate their nearest BC SPCA facility to explore available pets and learn more about the services offered.
- Emergency Rescue and Treatment: Provides emergency rescue and veterinary treatment for thousands of sick and injured animals each year.
