Indigenous Mentor Program

Provided by Fraser Cascade School District #78

Provides culturally appropriate mentoring services for Indigenous youth.
This program is offered by School District #78 whereby students connect with an in-school Indigenous Mentor. The mentor provides individualized social and emotional support services, resource referrals, direct services to enable supports, resilience (leadership and relationship based).

Referral required. Referrals to see this worker can be received from several points including First Nation Support Workers, teachers, school administrators, school counselors, bands and self-referrals.

This program has recently changed organizations. School District #78 has taken over from HATS. Please check the website or email Kristie for live information.
