Provides transportation to medical appointments free of charge.
This organization provides medical transport services on a by-donation basis. This is a door to door service for all those who are living in the Hope BC area and throughout the Fraser Canyon to Boston Bar, and have no other means of transportation to their appointments. The drivers take clients to and from their appointment. Once registered with Care Transit individuals can book a ride in the following ways:
- Living in Hope and area: phone 604-869-3396, or stop in at the office or online.
- Living in the Canyon up to Boston Bar: phone 604-869-1831
Care Transit also provides a free weekly shuttle service every Wednesday between Silver Creek and Hope. The schedule is available here.
