Counselling and medical services are available for youth and young adults with no referral needed through a low-barrier drop-in service.

Counsellors are available to speak with young people about a range of concerns including anxiety, fears, stress, depression, sadness, relationships with family and friend, schooling, substance use, grief and loss, suicidal thoughts, eating, sleep, sexuality, unhelpful behavioural patterns, and unusual thoughts, for example.

Counselling at all locations of the Chilliwack Youth Health Centre is provided by university students from a variety of programs in counselling psychology and social work. All counselling sessions are delivered under the supervision of senior clinicians from helping agencies in Chilliwack.

A referral is not required. Services are free and confidential, and drop-ins are welcome - no appointments needed for counselling or medical support. Counselling services are available either in-person or virtually. Locations include:

Neighbourhood Learning Centre:

Counselling in-Person & Virtual: Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays 1:00pm – 7:00pm (last drop-in time 5:30pm)
Medical Face-to-Face: Tuesdays 2:00pm – 5:00pm (last drop-in 4:30pm)

Stó:lō Wellness Centre:

Counselling in Person & Virtual: Thursday 1:00pm – 7:00pm (last drop-in 5:30pm)
Medical Face-to-Face: Thursday 2:00pm – 5:00pm (by appointment only until 4:30pm)
